Which small parts does your rod support need?

A butt rest holds the handle of the rod and stops it sliding forward on a take. A deep, snug butt rest grips the rod more firmly, while an open design lets you lift the rod out easily. A front rest supports the front of the rod when you are not using a bite alarm, for example during a short daytime session.

Snag ears fit over the top of your bite alarm and keep the rod in place when you fish close to snags with a locked-up drag. The fish cannot pull the rod off the rests, and you have time to pick it up before the fish reaches the snag.

A stage stand is a support for platforms and wooden swims where you cannot push a bankstick into the ground. A quick-release adapter lets you take off an alarm or rest with a single movement, so packing up is quick and the threads last longer.
