What do you need for an effective carp rig?

At the heart of every rig is the hook. A wide gape hook is a versatile choice for bottom baits and pop-ups, a curve shank hook turns aggressively in the fish's mouth, and chod, stiff and zig hooks are designed for specialist rigs. Keep the hook point sharp at all times and change the hook as soon as the point has turned over.

If you would rather not tie your own, ready tied rigs are a quick solution. The range includes bottom bait rigs, pop-up and spinner rigs, chod and zig rigs, and short rigs for solid PVA bags, all ready to clip on and cast out.
