How do you keep a barrow load secure?

A barrow bag sits on the frame and swallows the smaller items that would otherwise slide off the top of the load. Many have a stiffened base and waterproof fabric.

Strong straps are a cheap way to keep the bivvy, chair and bedchair together on a bumpy path. Quick-release buckles make unloading fast.

A waterproof cover protects the whole load in the rain and doubles as a kit cover in the swim. Always check the bag or cover suits your barrow model.
