Disgorgers
This section holds disgorgers for removing small coarse hooks quickly and without harming the fish. Plastic and aluminium versions suit roach, perch, bream and other silvers, whether you are fishing a match or a lazy evening at the lake.

Keep the line tight, slip it into the slot of the disgorger and slide it down the line to the bend of the hook. A gentle push frees the hook and the fish can go straight back.
Pick the length to suit your fish: a short disgorger is fine for small fish hooked in the lip, while a longer one reaches a hook taken further back. The head size decides which hook sizes it suits.
Plastic disgorgers are light and easy to carry as spares. Aluminium ones stand up to harder use.
Attach your disgorger to a jacket or seatbox with a cord or retractor, so it is always to hand and never ends up in the water.
