Prologic BAT+ Bite Alarm Set 4+1 Red/Green/Blue/Yellow is a wireless bite alarm set with 4 alarms and a receiver. The alarm LED colours are red, green, blue and yellow, so each rod can be identified by colour.
The alarms feature a very deep rod recess, making it possible to fish tricky swims without additional snag ears. Adjustments include five sensitivity levels and six volume levels plus a silent mode. In addition to the high-visibility LED, the alarms have a manually switched night light.
The alarms run on two AAA batteries and the receiver on a 9V battery, which according to the manufacturer gives the best balance between power consumption and wireless range. The range is 100 metres and the alarms are waterproof. The electronics were tested for over a year across Europe in a wide range of fishing and weather conditions.
