Westin W2 Boat 6'6" 8-12lb is a 3-section boat rod for saltwater fishing with pilks and heavy lures. Length is 1.95 m (6'6"), class MH, line rating 8-12 lb and casting weight 50-150 g.
The W2 Boat rods are built for tough fishing, such as wreck fishing for conger, dropping lures for halibut and light pilk fishing for cod. The blank is 24/30 tonne carbon, and the slow action is made for hard fighting fish. The balanced design makes fishing with heavy lures all day easier.
The rod is fitted with Seaguide SXEOG guides, a Seaguide DPS reel seat and an EVA handle. The butt has Westin's Comfort Cross Gimbal (CCG). The 3-section design makes the rod easy to travel with, and a cloth bag is included.
