Penn Fathom II Lever Drag 2-Speed 15XN is a two-speed lever drag reel with the Quick-Shift II system for switching between high and low gear. Size 15XN has gear ratios of 5.5:1 and 2.8:1 and a max drag of 14.9 kg. This is a right-hand retrieve model.
The body and sideplate are full metal. The palm side plate is integrated with the frame, which makes the reel more compact in hand and increases its strength. The main and pinion gears are stainless steel, and the spool is forged and machined aluminium.
The Dura-Drag system is fitted with a Pull-to-Turn preset knob that prevents accidental changes to the drag preset. The reel runs on 5 stainless steel bearings.
