Penn Fathom II Lever Drag 15

Penn Fathom II Lever Drag 15 is a lever drag conventional reel with a full metal body and sideplate. Size 15 has a gear ratio of 5.3:1 and a max drag of 9.0 kg.

On the Fathom II the palm sideplate is integrated with the frame, which makes the reel more compact in hand and increases its strength. The main and pinion gears are stainless steel, and the spool is forged and machined aluminium. It runs on 5 stainless steel bearings.

The drag is the Penn Dura-Drag system. The Pull-to-Turn preset knob has to be pulled out before it can be turned, so the drag preset is not changed by accident.
