Westin W2 Hybrid Slow Jigging 6'2" 20-120g is a slow jigging rod for slow to speed jigging. Length is 1.88 m (6'2"), class L, casting weight 20-120 g and action Medium Fast. The rod is 1+1 sections.
The action suits slow jigs, speed jigs and soft lures such as the Sandy Andy across a wide range of depths and conditions. The sensitive yet powerful blank allows the use of very fine braid diameters that cut through the current, an advantage in pressured areas. Target species include bonito, albacore, snapper, cod and sea bass.
The blank is 24/30 tonne carbon. It is fitted with Seaguide TUXQLSG Gunsmoke guides, a Seaguide XVS reel seat, a split EVA handle and a stainless steel tangle free hook keeper. A cloth bag is included.
