Westin W10 13-Braid Coastal 1500 m is a 13-strand braided line for sea trout and saltwater fishing in tough conditions. Spool length is 1500 m, in diameters from 0.08 to 0.205 mm.
The line is made from Japanese UHMPE fibres in a 13X (12+1) construction: 12 carriers are braided tightly around a central core carrier for a uniformly round line that is stronger than 8X braids.
The Advanced Ultra High PIC construction with 56 weaves per inch gives a smooth surface and high abrasion resistance. Double Dura-Coating makes the line stiffer, reducing wind knots when casting repeatedly into onshore winds. The coating also repels water and lowers friction for longer, more accurate casts. The line is dye soaked, oven cured and sealed with a double gel coat, so the Morning Mist colour lasts well.
