Penn Vantage XT Long Cast 8000 is a big pit-style reel for carp fishing, and its strength is long and accurate casting. Size 8000 has a gear ratio of 4.3:1 and a max drag of 12 kg.
The body and rotor are made of rigid and lightweight XRC carbon, and the durable CNC gear is machined from premium metals. The sealed, waterproof drag is protected against water and dirt.
X-Slow Leveline technology lays more than 50 wraps of line per spool oscillation, giving an even line lay and accurate, long casts. Penn calls the spool shape Rocket Spool Design.
The reel runs on 9+1 sealed ball bearings, and the Quick Drag system switches quickly between free spool and drag. An aluminium spare spool and two sets of line reducers are included, so you never need to use more line than necessary.
