Penn Vantage Long Cast 8000 is a big pit style long cast reel for carp fishing. Size 8000 has a gear ratio of 4.3:1 and a max drag of 12 kg.
Slow Leveline technology lays up to 50 wraps of line per oscillation, so the line sits evenly and flows freely from the spool on the next cast. The Rocket Spool design is made for long casting.
The body is rigid and lightweight carbon infused XRC and the main gear is metal. It runs on 7+1 sealed bearings, and the sealed drag keeps water and dirt out. The Quick Drag system lets you switch quickly between free spool and drag.
Two line reducers are included so you need less line on the spool. The side-folding aluminium handle keeps the reel compact for storage.
