Penn Tidal XT Twin Tip 14'9" 225g/350g is a versatile surfcasting rod from the Penn Tidal series that comes with two different tip sections. The rod length is 14'9".
The glow-in-the-dark Hybrid Sensitip has a casting weight of 100-225 g and suits more finesse fishing styles where accurate bite registration matters. The powerful glow-in-the-dark carbon tip handles heavy weights up to 350 g and is built for long casts.
Both tip sections are fitted with saltwater-proof Fuji K-type guides with Alconite rings, which help maximise casting distance and prevent the line from tangling around the guides.
The blank is made of a mix of 36T and 40T high modulus carbon for a lightweight, responsive and slim build. Carbon X-Wrap construction adds strength and reduces twisting, and the X-Shrink casting grip gives full control during the cast.
