Penn Tidal XT Lowrider Solid Carbon Tip 14' 50-200g is part of the Penn Tidal surfcasting concept: a three-piece surf rod with a sensitive solid carbon tip. Length is 4.20 m and casting weight 50-200 g.
The very slim and lightweight blank is made of a mix of 36T and 40T carbon and features Carbon X-Wrap technology. X-Wrap makes the blank more powerful and reduces twisting, improving casting accuracy and casting performance.
The solid carbon tip gives excellent bite registration, and the tip glows in the dark. Saltwater-proof Fuji Lowrider guides with Alconite rings, a saltwater resistant reel seat and a special X-shrink casting grip complete a rod built for long casts.
