Penn Tidal XT K-Type Hybrid Sensitip 14'9" 100-250g is a surfcasting rod from the Penn Tidal series with an extremely sensitive Hybrid Sensitip. Length is 4.50 m (14'9") and casting weight 100-250 g.
The slim and lightweight blank is made of a mix of 36T and 40T carbon. Carbon X-Wrap construction adds power and reduces twisting, improving casting accuracy and casting performance.
The Hybrid Sensitip is slimmer in diameter than a regular solid carbon tip, giving even better bite registration, especially in calm water. The tip glows in the dark.
The rod is fitted with saltwater-resistant Fuji K-type guides with Alconite rings and a saltwater-resistant reel seat. The X-Shrink casting grip gives a secure hold for long casts.
