Penn Tidal X K-type Hybrid Sensitip 14'9" 100-300g is a three-piece surf rod for long-distance casting from the shore. Length is 4.50 m (14'9"), casting weight 100-300 g and power Heavy.
The slim and lightweight Tidal X blank is made of a mix of 24T and 30T carbon. Carbon X-wrap on the blank adds power and reduces twisting, improving casting accuracy and distance.
The rod features a sensitive Hybrid Sensitip that is slimmer in diameter than a regular solid carbon tip, giving even better bite registration, especially in calm water. It is fitted with saltwater-resistant Fuji O K-type guides and reel seat and an X-shrink casting grip.
