Penn Tidal Elite Hybrid K-Type Spinning 14'9" 100-250g is the flagship of the Penn Tidal surfcasting concept: a three-piece surf rod with a length of 4.50 m, casting weight 100-250 g, Heavy power and Fast action.
The extremely light blank is made of 50T carbon with a Triaxial Multidirectional Weave structure. The combination gives the blank a fast recovery speed that shows in the casting distance. The rod was developed together with European experts and tested both in the lab and in the field.
Lightweight stainless steel Fuji K-type frames with Fuji Alconite rings keep the rod from being weighed down by heavy guides.
The reel seat is a Fuji DPSSD and the handle has an X-Shrink tube. Rubber-coated joints give a better grip, and alignment dots make lining up the sections easy. The rod is delivered in a soft cloth bag for protection during transport.
