Penn Squall II Level Wind 20 LH is a conventional reel with a level wind that lays the line evenly on the spool. Size 20 has a gear ratio of 4.9:1 and a max drag of 14.9 kg, and this model is left hand retrieve.
A lightweight graphite frame and sideplates surround the mechanism, and the spool is forged and machined aluminium. The Fast Gear Access sideplate makes maintenance easy with quick access to the gears.
The drag uses HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers, and the reel runs on a 3+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearing system. The main gear is high-strength marine grade bronze alloy and the pinion gear is stainless steel. The spool has line capacity rings.
