Penn Spinfisher VII 5500

Penn Spinfisher VII 5500 is an IPX5 sealed saltwater spinning reel with a sealed body and spool that keeps saltwater from waves and spray out of the gearbox and drag system. Size 5500 has a gear ratio of 5.6:1 and a max drag of 11.3 kg.

A full metal body and sideplate keep the CNC Gear system with its brass main gear in precise alignment, also under heavy loads. The reel runs on a 5+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearing system.

The HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers are housed in a fully sealed spool. The Superline Spool is made for braided line, and the handle can be switched for right or left hand retrieve.
