Penn Slammer IV 6500

Penn Slammer IV 6500 is a heavy-duty saltwater spinning reel with an IPX6 sealed body and spool. Size 6500 has a gear ratio of 5.6:1 and a max drag of 18.1 kg.

The reel features a full metal body and sideplate and a brass main gear made with CNC Gear technology. It runs on an 8+1 stainless steel bearing system and a Hydrophobic line roller bearing.

The sealed, bearing-supported Slammer drag with Dura-Drag washers runs smoothly and offers a wide usable drag range. The bail is closed manually (manual bail trip), and the handle can be switched for right or left hand retrieve. A spare EVA handle knob is included.
