Penn Slammer Classic 560 is a full metal spinning reel that continues the line of the well-known Penn Slammer reels with updated details. Size 560 has a gear ratio of 4.6:1 and a max drag of 6.8 kg.
The body and sideplates are metal, and the spool is machined and anodized aluminium. The main gear is machine-cut alloy, and the oversized stainless steel main shaft is triple-supported to keep the drivetrain rigid and aligned.
The drag uses oversized HT-100 carbon drag washers for smooth stopping power under heavy loads. The reel runs on 5+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings, the Techno-balanced rotor smooths the retrieve, and the Leveline system and improved bail help with line management. The handle can be switched for right or left hand retrieve.
