Penn Senator Star Drag 115L2 is a heavy-duty star drag conventional reel. The Senator is built as a low gear ratio winch that can pull heavy fish off the bottom, and its HT-100 drag washers provide smooth drag under heavy loads.
The reel features a machined and anodised aluminium spool, a marine grade bronze main gear and a stainless steel pinion gear. The Bakelite sideplates are reinforced with stainless steel frame rings that add rigidity and prevent frame flex.
