Penn Pursuit V 6000 is a versatile saltwater spinning reel from a size range that covers inshore, surf and boat fishing. Size 6000 has a max drag of 9.0 kg and a gear ratio of 5.6:1.
The body is lightweight and corrosion-resistant graphite. The reel runs on four sealed stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse bearing, and the drag uses HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers.
The machined and anodised aluminium spool is braid ready (Superline Spool), so braid can be tied directly to the spool without mono backing. Line Capacity Rings and a one-size-fits-all line clip make line management easier when rigging or storing the reel.
