Penn Tidal XT Beach Caster 13' 4-8oz is a surfcasting rod from the Penn Tidal series designed for use with either a fixed spool reel or a multiplier. Length is 3.96 m (13') and casting weight 4-8 oz.
The blank is made of a mix of 36T and 40T high modulus carbon for a lightweight, responsive and very slim build. Carbon X-Wrap construction adds strength and reduces twisting for better casting accuracy and control.
The rod is fitted with saltwater-proof Fuji Deep Pressed guides with Alconite rings. A strong glow-in-the-dark tip makes bites easy to see in low light, and the X-Shrink casting grip gives full control during the cast.
