Penn Tidal XR Beach Caster Sliding RS 14' 112-225g is a surfcasting rod from the Penn Tidal series with a sliding reel seat. It is designed for use with either a fixed spool reel or a multiplier. Length is 4.20 m (14') and casting weight 112-225 g.
The blank is made of a mix of 30T and 40T high modulus carbon for a lightweight, responsive and very slim build. Carbon X-Wrap construction adds strength and reduces twisting for better casting accuracy and control.
The rod is fitted with saltwater-proof Fuji-O Deep Pressed guides. A strong glow-in-the-dark tip makes bites easy to see in low light, and the X-Shrink casting grip gives full control during the cast.
