Abu Garcia Beast X Trolling Casting 8'4" 40-130g is a casting rod designed for pike trolling. Length is 2.54 m (8'4"), casting weight 40-130 g, power Heavy Plus and action Fast.
The Beast X Trolling series is dedicated to (big) pike trolling: reel seats, handle lengths and materials, hook keeper and rod actions are all tuned for this purpose. The fast action has a slightly softer tip that gives perfect cushioning when fishing planer boards and XXL lures, even in rough and windy conditions.
The strong backbone helps convert more bites into hook-ups and provides the power to land very large pike. The blank is made of 30T carbon, and stainless steel Seaguide XOG anti-tangle guides reduce line tangles. The full EVA grip withstands use in rod holders, and the shortened rear grip leaves more space in the boat.
