Commercial Carp / Pellet Feeder Rods
Commercial carp and pellet feeder rods are short, powerful rods for heavily stocked fisheries. Use them to put a small pellet or method feeder tight to an island or the margins and get carp in the net quickly.

On commercials, carp often feed 20-40 metres out along island margins or in front of the reeds. You do not need a long rod for that; a 2.7-3.3 m rod is more accurate and easier to handle in a tight peg.
The rod must have enough power to steer carp away from snags yet stay forgiving enough to protect a short hooklength and small hook.
Pellet feeders are small, often 15-30 g, and loaded with hard pellets. A light casting weight means a soft, accurate cast that keeps the bait patch tight.
Match the rod with a compact reel with a good drag and 0.18-0.22 mm main line.
