The spinning reel, also known as an open-face reel, is very popular among both beginner and experienced anglers due to its ease of use and excellent price-quality ratio. Choosing the right spinning reel is relatively simple; for smaller fish, a lightweight reel in the size range of 500-3000 is suitable, and for larger fish, more robust spinning reels in the size range of 4000 or larger are appropriate. A beginner or someone fishing for a variety of species can comfortably purchase a spinning reel in the size range of 2500-3000. Pay attention to the gear ratio when selecting a reel - the heavier the fish you are targeting, the lower the gear ratio should be to achieve the maximum torque.
From Ruoto's extensive selection, you will find high-quality spinning reels from all manufacturers. You are sure to find a reel that suits you, whether your target is salmon, perch, or pike! The handedness of a spinning reel is easily adjustable.
