Vector Optics Frenzy Plus F3 1x22x32 SMR is a large-window competition red dot designed especially for fast aiming in practical shooting. The 22 x 32 mm window and selectable 3 MOA multi-reticle system provide a wide view of the target area and help the shooter find the aiming reference during movement and rapid target transitions. Vector Optics highlights IPSC pistol shooting as a primary use, while the included Picatinny quick-release mount also allows use on PCCs and other Picatinny platforms.
The SMR multi-reticle system offers a 3 MOA dot, circle and crosshair-style options. The small centre dot supports precise aiming, while the larger patterns help the eye acquire the aiming reference more quickly during fast stages. There are 8 daylight brightness settings and 2 settings for night vision.
The sight uses the GIN footprint, which Vector Optics states is compatible with the C-More RTS / STS mounting standard. GIN is a large competition-optic mounting pattern, so compatibility with the pistol slide and optic plate should be confirmed before direct pistol installation. A Picatinny quick-release mount is included for installation on a suitable Picatinny rail.
The solar panel acts as a backup power source, while the primary power source is a side-loading CR2032 battery. A motion sensor activates the sight during use and helps conserve power. The manufacturer specifies up to 80,000 hours of battery life.
The 6061-T6 aluminium housing is IPX7 rated, and Vector Optics specifies 800 G impact resistance. Adjustment click value is 1 MOA, and total elevation and windage adjustment range is 100 MOA. Weight with the included mount is approximately 113 g.
