Savotta Combat Belt is a reasonably priced, straightforward battle belt designed for military and shooting use, as well as for attaching a pistol holster, magazine pouches, and other PALS-compatible equipment. Its strength lies in its functional and purpose-built basic construction, providing the features most users need without unnecessary complexity.

The belt body consists of three layers of webbing sewn together. The spaces between the layers form webbing channels compatible with PALS attachment, allowing pouches and other equipment to be mounted. The middle layer is made from particularly thick and stiff material, enabling the belt to support pistol holsters and other belt-mounted equipment securely.

The construction is supportive yet somewhat flexible, meaning it is not an extremely rigid competition shooting belt and is not designed to be one. The belt works as is with a pistol holster, a few magazines, and a small pouch. For heavier equipment setups, a suitable belt pad, suspenders, or both are recommended, as they improve comfort and distribute the load.

The belt is adjusted via the buckle, without a hook-and-loop-based adjustment system. It features a 2M FDR SR buckle, a high-quality PA 6 plastic buckle suitable for belt use. The buckle can easily be replaced with an AustriAlpin Cobra buckle or a similar compatible alternative if desired.

The ends of the adjustment straps feature double-sided One-Wrap hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing excess strap ends to be rolled up and kept neatly in place. Instead of using the One-Wrap fastening, the strap ends can also be taped or secured with elastic strap retainers, for example.

The belt comes bundled with an approximately 40 cm bungee cord, which also secures the product tag. The bungee cord can be used, for example, to create elastic suspender attachment loops.

Each size has 30 cm of quick-adjustment range, making it easier to fit the belt with different belt pads and thick clothing layers. Sizing is based on using the belt with at least a thin belt pad. When selecting the appropriate size, both the belt pad and the thickest clothing layers must be taken into account.
