Savotta Valjas Slim Belt Pad S-M M05 is a basic belt pad for standard 45?50 mm wide belts. Its relatively narrow and thin construction provides sufficient padding for light belt setups, while the rubberized anti-slip fabric on the body-facing side prevents the belt from rotating and moving up and down.

The pad features two layers of supportive 4 mm closed-cell foam. The design is compatible with virtually any belt that fits through the loops. The S-M size pad measures 70 cm in length, 8.5 cm in width, and weighs 140 g.

The flat belt loops, made from 25 mm webbing, are 60 mm wide and have 25 mm wide gaps between them. This design allows PALS-compatible pouches to be attached horizontally, such as a magazine pouch with a first aid insert on the back of the belt.

The belt pad is designed for a moderate equipment load, such as a few grenades and a rifle magazine, a first aid kit and tourniquet, a water bottle, as well as a pistol and a few magazines. The relatively narrow construction combines mobility and comfort. For heavier loads, a thicker and wider pad may be more suitable, and harnesses can be added to the setup when extra support is needed to distribute the weight.

The outer material is durable 500D Cordura made from 100% polyamide. The webbing is 100% polyester, except in Multicam colour, where it is 100% polyamide. All colour options offer good NIR concealment properties. The product is manufactured in Finland or Estonia and comes with a five-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects.

The S-M, M-L and L-XL size designations are indicative. The pad works best when there is an approximately 15?30 cm gap between its ends at the front. Choose the correct size based on the circumference measured over the clothing you intend to wear, at the height where the belt will be used, usually just above the hips.

When selecting a size, it is advisable to dress as you would when using the pad, including your trouser belt. For example, with a circumference of 100 cm, the S-M size leaves a 30 cm gap at the front, whereas the M-L size leaves a 20 cm gap. In this case, M-L is the recommended size option.
