Magpul ESK Selector - AR FDE is a modular, ambidextrous selector kit for AR-15-style firearms. The FDE-colored kit is designed for Mil-Spec AR-pattern lower receivers, and its user-configurable levers provide modern ergonomics and a customizable operating feel in an easy-to-install package.
The selector shaft can be installed reversibly for either a 60- or 90-degree throw. The shaft is fully machined from heat-treated chrome-moly steel, and its QPQ finish improves wear and corrosion resistance. Its materials and construction are designed for reliable use on the AR-15 platform.
The kit includes three durable polymer levers: Full-Length, Short, and Hybrid models. The levers can be installed in the desired configuration on either side of the shaft by pressing them onto the shaft's dovetail grooves. A play-free attachment system and ambidextrous design allow the selector assembly to be tailored to the user's needs.
Black and red selector indicators are included, allowing the color to be chosen according to personal preference. The non-load-bearing indicators serve as secondary locks for the levers and as selector position indicators. The lever configuration is easy to change, as the indicator can be removed with a small punch or hex key.
Installation is straightforward after removing the grip. The included spring, along with the corrosion-resistant detent treated with a low-friction coating, ensures smooth operation with positive engagement. The kit is not compatible with select-fire receiver lowers.
