Magpul DAKA Soft Case SC35 is a water-resistant, semi-rigid rifle case designed for transporting firearms and equipment when light weight, quick accessibility, and versatility are important. The case is suitable for use as a vehicle transport case, range bag, and protective case for hunting rifles. Its external dimensions are approximately 88.9 x 30.5 x 7.6 cm (35 x 12 x 3 inches).
The case is constructed from Magpul?s proprietary DAKA Grit material, combining a 600D fabric TPU outer layer with a TPU backing layer. RF-welded seams and a weather-, dirt-, and abrasion-resistant construction protect the contents in changing conditions. The lightweight, flexible, semi-rigid design opens completely flat, making it easier to organize firearms and accessories.
Two external YKK Aquaguard zippers are durable, with 550 cord pulls reinforced with heat-shrink tubing. The case?s MOLLE-style grooved base features four repositionable DAKA Gear Strap attachment straps for securely securing a rifle, MOLLE-compatible pouches, or other equipment.
Inside the lid are three elastic mesh pockets that can hold up to six PMAG LR/SR GEN M3-sized magazines in total. The case also includes a mesh pocket for organizing small accessories and a zippered pocket for documents and equipment, such as permits, targets, manuals, and other important materials.
An external RF-welded card and ID pocket, along with a dot matrix grid, makes marking and identifying the case easier. For carrying, the case has two fixed carry handles and two side-mounted, tuckable attachment points. These can be used with a separately purchased sling using QD sling swivels, Paraclips, MASH Hooks, or other similar attachment hardware. Configurable carry options allow the case setup to be adapted to the equipment and situation.
The case is sized to fit inside the Magpul DAKA Hard Case C35 when the DAKA GRID has been removed. This enables the added protection of a hard case during transport and the use of a lightweight soft case at the destination.
