The KynSHOT RB5015HD Heavy Damped is a more heavily damped hydraulic recoil buffer for pistol caliber carbines (PCC) with a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube (7" / 177.8 mm internal depth). Developed in collaboration with Blitzkrieg Components, it installs as a direct drop-in replacement for the standard buffer and works with virtually any buffer spring.
The buffer performs best in builds with a barrel of 8" (203 mm) or longer and in all suppressed PCC setups. It works with all 9 mm ammunition types and is also compatible with other PCC calibers such as .40 S&W, .45 ACP and 10mm. Its weight and length are tuned so that the bolt stops just behind the bolt catch. According to the manufacturer, felt recoil is reduced by up to 30%.
The RB5015HD is also compatible with A5/AR-10 buffer tubes (7.75" / 196.9 mm internal depth) when paired with the KynSHOT Spacer Weight (R1505098). No spacer weight is needed with a CMMG radial delayed blowback system. The body is made from 17-4 stainless steel.

Heavier damping for longer-barreled and suppressed carbines sets the RB5015HD apart from the RB5007, which is intended for short barrels.
Note: For a carbine buffer tube with a CMMG radial delayed blowback bolt carrier group, the manufacturer recommends the RB5000HP.
