Geissele Super Precision 30mm Std DDC is a scope mount compatible with AR-15/M4 platforms, designed for 30 mm main tubes. The mounting surface spans 7 Picatinny slots, and the body locks onto the rail with 4 shear lugs. The bolt-nut clamping mechanism provides approximately 6.2 kN (1,400 lb) clamping force per bolt, ensuring a secure, lever-independent attachment to the AR upper receiver.
The mount is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 high-strength aluminum, enhancing rigidity and repeatability. The body features pockets and reinforcement ribs to reduce weight and increase strength, and the cap mounting points are positioned to accommodate a wide range of 30 mm main tube optics. The design supports return-to-zero in repeated removal/installation scenarios.
The newer generation top caps are interchangeable between turrets without compromising accuracy, facilitating potential maintenance. The series is available in Standard, Extended, and Hyper Extended lengths, as well as in black or DDC Type III hardcoat anodized finishes; this model is Standard length and DDC-colored. The AR-standard height places the optical centerline approximately 39.1 mm (1.54 in) above the rail.
