Corrosafe CS16R Black is a large gun safe whose defining feature is a rotating gun rack. The design is intended especially for users with several large rifles, including rifles fitted with substantial optics, who want to access a single firearm without moving the others.
The rotating rack keeps 16 long guns organised and brings the selected firearm to the front with a small movement. The rack was developed in cooperation with hunters and industrial design specialists at the University of Lapland. Standard equipment also includes one shelf and three 435 mm-wide drawers, with adjustable shelf and drawer positions.
Hook panels with a 40 mm pitch on the door, rear wall and side walls allow the large interior to be configured around the user?s equipment. Compatible options include additional shelves, drawers, storage compartments, hooks, pistol holders and magazine holders. The side wall still provides equipment-storage space alongside the rotating gun rack.
Corrosafe is an SSF3492-certified security cabinet. The Finnish Police lists SSF3492 among the approved security-cabinet standards in Finland. A certified security cabinet is required in Finland, among other situations, when storing a particularly dangerous firearm (ERVA) or more than five firearms. The cabinet therefore meets the required security level in Finland for storing ERVA firearms as well as more than five firearms in accordance with the applicable storage requirements.
The cabinet weighs approximately 270 kg, which is over 150 kg. The Finnish mass-based anchoring requirement that applies to security cabinets weighing less than 150 kg therefore does not apply to this model. The cabinet must nevertheless be placed securely and in accordance with the manufacturer?s installation instructions.
The cabinet is supplied with a key lock as standard, but an electronic code lock can be selected instead. Selecting the code lock replaces the key lock, so there is no separate key to store. The lock uses a 6-digit user code. The code is stored in the lock unit and remains in memory even if the battery runs out. The 9 V battery can be replaced from outside the cabinet through the keypad unit.

Moving and placement: The door can be removed to make moving easier. Because of the high overall weight, the route and final position should be planned in advance.
Delivery in Finland: Order the gun cabinet online. In Finland, the delivery is brought to the yard of the delivery address. The delivery time is agreed separately with the transport company.
Recommended use: Corrosafe CS16R is especially well suited to owners of larger firearm collections whose rifles are fitted with substantial scopes or other accessories. The rotating rack makes it easier to access the selected firearm without knocking or moving the others.
