Axem Barrel Nut 5.56 - AR-15 platform barrel nut, designed to secure the barrel to the AR-15 upper receiver and ensure the attachment of the handguard; developed as a reliable AR-15 spare part for building and maintaining the 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem platform.
Hardened steel construction provides a stable connection between the barrel extension and the upper receiver, and precise machining helps achieve consistent torque without jerks. Standard compatibility with the AR-15 system makes the part suitable for most upper receivers with AR-15 standard threads. Installation is possible with common armorer's wrench tools and barrel nut wrenches.
The barrel nut features gas tube alignment grooves that allow proper routing of the gas tube, and a serrated design enables more precise alignment during the torqueing phase. Protective surface treatment helps prevent corrosion and wear, and when properly tightened, the connection maintains zero even after repeated firing cycles. Compatibility with handguards is system-specific (traditional delta ring assembly vs. manufacturer-specific free-float solutions), so the handguard must be chosen to match the nut type.
Axem Barrel Nut 5.56 - Features:
