Daiwa Tanacom S500J is an electric reel specifically designed for deep-sea fishing. It features a digital display that works with polarized glasses and a powerful Magmight motor that provides increased pulling power.
The reel is equipped with a Jog Power Lever for one-handed operation and a synchronized line guide that ensures the perfect line angle on the spool. Additionally, the reel has 8 ball bearings, including one CRBB® bearing, and an ATD™ drag system that allows precise drag force adjustment.
An aluminum spool and Hi-Grip handle make the reel durable and comfortable to use. The reel's line capacity is approximately 500 meters of 0.28 mm line, and it weighs 800 g. The drag force is 15 kg, and the gear ratio is 3.58:1, enabling a retrieval speed of about 135 m/min.
