Den Vanliga displays tried-and-tested Baltic salmon colors, with dash of bright blue as contrast. Just like its name suggests, “The Usual One” is the go-to choice for Swedish salmon rivers. You can use it as a lighter choice during the day, especially in sunny weather or in extra murky conditions when the fly needs to stand out in colored water. Or basically whenever you feel like it. One of those templedog-style flies that are easy to “overdress” with too much material, but we are convinced our Den Vanliga has a pretty nice, lively profile!
