Sizes 1000-2000 are excellent reels for jig fishing, especially 1000 for finesse rods. 2500 is very good for zander jig fishing due to its drag power. 2500 is also great for sea trout fishing and as a general-purpose reel.
Sizes 3000-4000 are suitable for general fishing and pike fishing. Sizes 5000-6000 are clearly for larger lures for river and coastal fishing.
