Insect Shield - Built-in insect protection

• How does it work? The active ingredient is a synthetic version of a natural insect repellent found in certain chrysanthemum species.
• Proven: The method is the result of years of research and field work.
• Unnoticeable: Only insects notice it.

This garment has been treated with the Insect Shield process, which provides protection against insects. The active ingredient is permethrin, 0.52% by weight, i.e. 5.2 g/kg of treated material. When permethrin is bonded to the garment with the Insect Shield process, it attaches to the fabric and does not wash out. Insect Shield or any other insect repellent product cannot guarantee complete protection against insects or insect bites.

PRECAUTIONS: Do not dry clean, as dry cleaning removes the active ingredient. Do not re-treat with other permethrin-based products. Do not use for any purpose other than the one intended. Do not use the product contrary to the product label. At the end of its life, the garment can be disposed of as mixed waste. Permethrin may cause skin sensitisation.
