Saxa Thermal Cabin is an insulated ice fishing shelter that makes winter fishing more comfortable in freezing temperatures and on windy ice. It provides effective protection from wind, snow and cold, as well as a sheltered space for 1?2 anglers.

The shelter features a quick-opening hub structure, allowing it to be set up and taken down without assembling separate tent poles. The sturdy 9.5 mm fibreglass frame keeps the shelter stable and upright. The included ice screws and guy lines allow the shelter to be securely anchored to the ice.

Durable and well-insulated 210D Oxford fabric helps keep the cold outside and the warmth inside the shelter. Snow can be piled onto the wide skirt to seal the lower edge of the shelter and reduce the entry of wind and cold air between the skirt and the ice.

Opening PVC windows can be covered with flaps when needed. Ventilation vents support airflow and moisture control inside the shelter. The bright red high-visibility roof makes the shelter easy to spot on the ice.

The approximately 1.5 x 1.5 metre floor area provides room for ice fishing, a seat and equipment. The 165 cm high structure combines protection with a compact size. After use, the shelter folds into the included carry bag for easy storage and transport.

Setting up the shelter: Remove the shelter from the carry bag and move it, while still folded, to the desired setup location. The package includes ice screws for anchoring and guy lines for additional wall support. Avoid moving the shelter when it is open or partially open in windy conditions, as the large fabric surface can easily catch the wind.

Place the shelter on the ice so that it can open freely and the roof is facing upwards. Locate the pull strap in the centre of the roof, hold the shelter skirt in place with your foot and pull the roof mechanism upwards using the pull strap. The roof locks into place when the hub mechanism is fully opened.

Locate the wall pull straps and pull the walls outwards one at a time until all wall hubs have locked into place. When opening the first wall, the roof can be lifted slightly if necessary to give the wall more room to open. Secure the shelter with the included ice screws and use the guy lines as needed to support the walls and prevent the wind from pushing the wall panels inward.

Before use, check that the shelter is securely anchored, the ventilation openings are open and the door operates freely. Pile snow onto the skirt to seal the lower edge of the shelter and reduce the entry of cold wind.

Taking down and packing the shelter: Remove any equipment from the shelter and clear away snow and ice accumulated on the skirt. Push in the wall hubs one at a time, causing the walls to collapse. At this stage, leave the roof in the raised position.

Turn the roof section clockwise so that the lower and upper corners of the shelter form a star shape. Remove the ice screws and any guy lines, and hold the shelter firmly. With one hand, hold one of the lower roof corners and use the other hand to push the roof mechanism down. Fold the lower roof corner over the roof of the shelter, causing the shelter to fold flat against the ground so it can be lifted as one bundle. Fold the shelter neatly and pack it into the carry bag.

Note: If a large amount of snow or ice has accumulated on the shelter skirt or fabric, remove it before folding. Do not force frozen fabric, the frame or hub mechanisms closed.

Saxa Thermal Cabin provides an insulated, sturdy and quick-to-set-up shelter with space for 1?2 anglers, a seat and equipment. The hub structure, fibreglass frame, ventilation, coverable windows and included anchoring accessories make the shelter a practical choice for winter fishing ? more time fishing and less time feeling cold.

Recommended use: suitable for ice fishing by 1?2 people when an insulated shelter that can be quickly set up is needed.
