Savage Gear Soft Fluorocarbon - is much less visible underwater than regular monofilament and virtually invisible to fish. 100% Soft Fluorocarbon is UV resistant, chemical resistant, non-absorbent and the super soft formula gives the perfect presentation and action in the water of your bait or lure!
Savage Gear Soft Fluorocarbon is a very popular leader material among jig anglers and, in the thicker diameters, among pike anglers. Fluorocarbon refracts less light than monofilament and is less visible to fish in the water. It also has a harder surface, so it holds up well as a leader.
Diameters 0.30 mm - 0.39 mm are great for perch fishing. Diameters from 0.39 up to 0.74 mm are excellent for zander anglers, and 0.92 mm and 1.00 mm are great material for pike anglers. With 1.00 mm you can make rigs for shads and durable leaders, and for pike fly anglers this is a great diameter for making pike leaders when you want the pike fly to hover longer. Early in the season, the thicker diameters work excellently for jig anglers targeting big perch and zander when you want to slow down the swimming action of the jig.
