Savage Gear Cork Screw Heads - a great way to add weight to shads and soft baits, and to use with vertical jigs. They are designed for Savage Gear Real Eel and Herring Shad lures, but can also be used with Monster Slugs and other soft baits. When you want to weight a shad and rig it with a stinger on its back so that you can fish it right along the bottom, a screw-in head in the nose of the shad is just the thing.
With a screw-in head you can also make your soft bait heavier: when you want to fish a soft bait like an ordinary lure with a single hook on its back, you can add weight to it and cast it very far.
Screw-in heads are of course also used in the nose of vertical jigs, which is why larger sizes, 45 g and 60 g, have been made especially for the Finnish market.
