Patagonia W's Fitz Roy Down Hoody Ellwood Green is a women's down jacket designed for winter conditions and demanding use. Its lightweight, warm and highly packable construction makes it comfortable to wear while allowing unrestricted movement. The jacket is made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
The jacket uses 100% Responsible Down Standard down with 800-fill-power, providing efficient insulation at a low weight and packing down into a compact size. The down is certified by Control Union (CU 880272), and its use supports animal welfare practices throughout the down and feather supply chain. The jacket weighs 485 g.
The lightweight and durable Pertex Quantum shell fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon. The shell's PFC-free DWR finish provides weather protection without perfluorinated chemicals while maintaining a comfortable feel. The lining is made from 10-denier Pertex Quantum NetPlus nylon ripstop, produced from 100% recycled fishing nets to help reduce plastic waste in the oceans. The lining also has a PFC-free DWR finish, and both the shell and lining fabrics are bluesign approved.
The helmet-compatible hood features a single-cord adjustment and a protective high collar. An internal storm flap behind the Vislon zipper helps reduce wind entering the jacket. Soft, elastic cuffs and a dual-adjustment drawcord hem help keep cold air out.
Versatile storage includes two handwarmer pockets and two external zippered chest pockets for easy access. In addition, the jacket has a large internal drop-in pocket with an elasticized opening. The jacket can be packed into its own left front pocket for transport and storage.
