Orka Hybrid Shad 5cm

Orka Hybrid Shad is a soft bait series designed by Markus Huovinen (Youtube: Kalastusta Pohjois-Savosta), which combines the body shape of the legendary Orka Shad and the V-tail of the Orka Small Fish. Markus developed the Hybrid Shad during an ice fishing trip by cutting the V-tail off a Small Fish and gluing it to the Orka Shad body. The test model proved to be extremely effective as an ice fishing soft bait for large perch and zander during the first fishing days. When combined with the Ruthless Ice Jig Head, the Hybrid Shad swims like a balance jig, gliding sideways. The swimming action that imitates an injured baitfish provokes predatory fish into striking it hard! In summer fishing, the Orka Hybrid Shad works effectively with a Slim Keeper or Stand Up jig head on days when fish strike best at a subtly gliding soft bait.
