Orka Hybrid Shad 5cm

Orka Hybrid Shad is a jig series designed by Markus Huovinen (Youtube: Kalastusta Pohjois-Savosta), which combines the legendary Orka Shad jig body shape and the V-tail of the Orka Small Fish jig. Markus developed the Hybrid Shad jig during his ice fishing trip by cutting the V-tail off the Small Fish jig and gluing it to the Orka Shad body. The test model proved to be extremely effective as an ice fishing jig for large perch and zander during the first fishing days. When combined with the Ruthless Ice Jig Head, the Hybrid Shad swims like a balance jig, gliding sideways. The swimming action that imitates an injured baitfish irritates predatory fish to strike the jig hard! In summer fishing, the Orka Hybrid Shad works effectively with a Slim Keeper or Stand Up jig head on days when fish strike the subtly gliding jig best.
