Mora Ice Nova Black -ice auger's blade is made of a durable and lightweight composite crown, to which the blade parts always attach in the correct position. The curved blade parts are so-called medium-speed and are designed for the current Nordic winter conditions, where the ice fisher often encounters layered ice. For competitive ice fishers, fast RACE blade parts are available, which make a hole faster in hard ice. The blade parts are easy and quick to change even on the ice, so spare blade parts save
the ice fishing trip.
Mora Ice Nova Black -ice auger's shaft is telescopic, so the total length of the auger can be adjusted according to the auger's preferences. The handles on the crank are ergonomically shaped and support the hand from below. The handles of Mora ICE ice augers are bearing-mounted, meaning they rotate lightly and thus facilitate augering.
Mora Ice Nova Black -ice auger's spiral is dimensioned so that it lifts the ice chips lightly out of the hole, which makes augering easier. A handle has been added to the shaft of the spiral, making the auger easy and warm to carry. The spiral, blade, and auger shaft are designed to be used also with a battery drill. A battery auger adapter is available as an accessory.
