LOWA Z-8S MK2 GTX PR Ws Dark Brown is a high-cut, waterproof outdoor and professional-use boot designed specifically for women. It is also highly suitable for hunting and demanding outdoor use. The Z-8S MK2 GTX PR Ws is an updated version of LOWA's Z-8S series, with particular emphasis on protection, stability and the demands of professional and rugged outdoor use. The upper is made from durable suede leather and textile material. The high-cut shaft supports the ankle and provides additional protection when moving through brush, rocky terrain and uneven ground. The standard-width women-specific last is designed to provide a secure and comfortable fit for the female foot.

The waterproof, windproof and breathable GORE-TEX Professional ePE membrane protects the feet from rain, wet vegetation and damp terrain. The membrane prevents water from entering from the outside while allowing moisture vapour to escape. This helps maintain a more comfortable climate inside the boot during physically demanding use.

The LOWA MONOWRAP support construction and double-injected DuraPU midsole help stabilise the foot on uneven surfaces. Different densities within the PU construction combine cushioning with the support required for long periods of walking. LOWA also recommends the model for demanding terrain and movement with a medium-weight pack.

A key feature of the MK2 PR version is the integrated textile puncture protection within the sole construction. The metal-free design helps protect the sole of the foot from sharp objects penetrating from below and provides additional protection in brush, work environments and terrain where the condition of the ground cannot be predicted.

The LOWA TACTICAL 2 ESD rubber outsole is designed for demanding use on a wide range of surfaces. Its tread pattern provides grip in terrain, while the dedicated midfoot profile improves grip on ladder rungs. The outsole is resistant to oil and fuel as well as contact heat. The sole construction also provides insulation against both cold and heat. The ESD properties allow controlled dissipation of electrostatic charge under suitable conditions.

The LOWA Z-8S MK2 GTX PR Ws is certified as an occupational footwear model according to EN ISO 20347:2022. Its classification includes features such as water resistance, metal-free puncture protection, oil and fuel resistance, cold and heat insulation, contact heat resistance, ladder grip and slip resistance. The boot does not have a protective toe cap and is therefore not classified as safety footwear with toe protection.
