Didriksons sustainability: The goal is to make durable and timeless garments, with classic colour choices and quality in both craftsmanship and materials. We work continuously on sustainability projects to improve and develop our products. If your garment breaks, we offer a repair kit and spare parts. If after some time you can no longer use or no longer want to use your garment, we ask you to primarily pass it on to a new owner or take it to recycling. In this product we use recycled fibres. By using recycled synthetic fibres, we prevent plastics from ending up in landfills. The insulation is made of synthetic materials. It is easy to wash, dries quickly and does not smell when wet. Since 2015, all water-repellent treatments used in our fabrics have been free from perfluorinated compounds. The products we use are Rudolf Bionic-finish Eco or Huntsman Zelan R3.
Didriksons materials: In the early days of our company, we made rainwear that protected fishermen from water and cold at sea. Since then, we have continued to protect people from water and cold, but today we also protect water from people. The goal is to create high-quality products that last for many years. We focus on durable and tested materials, dyeing processes that use less water and chemicals, and a PFC-free water-repellent treatment. Our garments never contain materials of animal origin such as fur, leather or down.
Didriksons Annema Main Features:
- Material:
Padding: 100% Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body - whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. The advantage of polyester over natural materials is that the fibres are more wear-resistant and last longer. In addition, producing synthetic materials such as polyester uses less water, and reducing water consumption is an important part of our work. Many of our garments use recycled and/or recyclable polyester. For a specific garment's characteristics, see its product description.
Shell 1: 100% Polyamide
Polyamide is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body - whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. The advantage of polyamide over natural materials is that it lasts longer, and it is one of the most wear-resistant materials used in clothing. For a specific garment's characteristics, see its product description.
Shell 2: 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane

Elastane is a highly elastic, synthetic polyurethane fibre, also known by the brand name Lycra. The material is used in combination with other fibres to give fabrics additional elasticity. Elastane can be stretched up to six times its original length and then return to its original length.
